Six gardens and outdoor living areas will be featured Saturday in the 2012 Garden Tour for Connoisseurs, presented by the Oklahoma Horticultural Society.
Homes are in Crown Heights, Edgemere Heights and Mesta Park. In addition to the six homes on the tour, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the Chesapeake Energy employee garden.
The tour is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are available at any of the host homes on the day of the tour or at these locations: Farmers Grain Company, 102 W First, Edmond; The Greenhouse, 1708 24th Ave. SW, Norman; Marcum's Nursery, 2121 SW 119; Nonna's Painted Door, Sheridan and Mickey Mantle; Precure Nursery, 8125 W Reno and 4535 NW 63; TLC Garden Center, 105 W Memorial and 8208 NW Expressway; Wilshire Garden Market, 2821 W Wilshire, Wild Bird's Unlimited, 63rd and N Western.

Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 the day of the tour, and $5 for an individual garden visit. Children age 6 and under are free. Addresses for tour homes along with a map and detailed descriptions of each garden are in the tour brochure available at ticket locations.
