Gas explosion damages Detroit's Orchestra Hall
DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Symphony Orchestra says a show Monday has been postponed after Orchestra Hall was damaged in a methane gas explosion that sent several manhole covers flying into the air. No injuries were reported.
The symphony says the extent of damage isn't immediately known. It happened Sunday morning at the hall, part of the Max Fisher Music Center just north of downtown.
