Gas leak at OU stopped after nearly six hours
NORMAN — A damaged pipe spewed natural gas into the air for hours today at Lindsey Street and Jenkins Avenue at the University of Oklahoma , prompting an evacuation of much of the campus. The gas leak was stopped about 5:45 p.m. today, an Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. spokesman said.
