Gas prices hold steady at $3.64 per gallon in RI

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gas prices are holding steady at an average $3.64 per gallon for regular in Rhode Island, unchanged from last week.

AAA Southern New England says on Monday that gas in the Ocean State costs about 26 cents more per gallon than the national average of $3.38.

Gas prices have increased 25 cents, or about 7 percent, since last year at this time, when the average for a gallon of regular was $3.39 per gallon.
