PHOENIX (AP) — Gasoline prices at the pump around Arizona are down slightly this week, but analysts say higher prices are coming.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is at $3.45 a gallon. That's down by a penny from last week.

This week's national average is at $3.51 per gallon, up by more than 4 cents from last week.

Analysts say higher prices are coming with crude oil now exceeding $100 per barrel for the first time since May.

Tucson has the lowest average gasoline price in Arizona at $3.23 a gallon while Flagstaff has the highest at $3.69.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas prices in the continental U.S. at $3.19 a gallon with California having the highest at $3.98 a gallon.
