Two bands with Oklahoma ties made the cut in my Top 10 coolest albums of 2008 considerations, and neither one has an alley named after it in Bricktown . Move over, Flaming Lips , and make room for more homegrown talent working to upgrade the Sooner State's international rock 'n' roll image.
