INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Paul George scored 21 points to lead the Indiana Pacers to an 88-83 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.

D.J. Augustin had 17 points and David West added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Pacers, who have won five of six. George also had six rebounds and five assists.

Zach Randolph had 21 points and 15 rebounds and Marc Gasol scored 13 for the Grizzlies, who have lost three of four.

West made two foul shots with 6:09 to play to give the Pacers a 72-71 lead after they trailed by as many as 10 in the second half.

Indiana played without starting point guard George Hill, who injured his right thigh against the Phoenix Suns last week. Coach Frank Vogel had said Hill was a game-time decision and he was even listed as a starter right before tipoff. Augustin started in place of Hill.

Randolph made two free throws to give Memphis a 67-56 lead with 2:40 left in the third quarter. But Indiana scored the last four points of the period and Ben Hansbrough had two 3-pointers early in the fourth to get the Pacers within three.
