Get App-y: On board the USS Enterprise from Star Trek
When Apple released its iPad in 2010, it reminded me of “ Star Trek 's” imagined future — a world without paper but with any information needed at the fingertips in a handheld, touch-screen computer.
Based on a search of YouTube alone, it was easy to see that I wasn't the only one who looked to “Star Trek” for iPad comparisons.
Now a new app copies the interface and sounds from “Star Trek”...
