BOLEY -- An Oklahoma escapee's choice of a getaway vehicle was a little too easy to spot.

Adam Holder, who escaped from the John H. Lilley Correctional Facility in Boley, was recaptured Wednesday afternoon near Galena, Kan., about two hours after his escape, the Miami News-Record reported.

He incident ended after Oklahoma turnpike officials reported a suspicious man driving a red fire truck had gone through a toll gate.

Holder apparently told the toll gate attendant he was delivering the vehicle to a Missouri fire department.

The truck was stolen from the Boley Fire Department.
