Getting along like 'cats and dogs'

The natures of both cats and dogs can be an allegorical lesson for people seeking harmony in a relationship.

If these things are not dispensed with regularity, the dog may pout and feel unloved and may act out to let the owner know all is not right in the dog's world. These signs may be subtle, or not, depending on the general temperament of the dog.

The moral of this story is: If you have cats and dogs in your family, recognizing the traits of their general method of operation will go a long way toward maintaining peace. Humans would do well to notice the different temperaments and personalities in themselves and the partners they choose.
