As Big Brown attempts history, here are facts you may not know about horse racing's favorite 3-year-old:
•Brown is the fourth undefeated horse to win both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness. Seattle Slew in 1977 was the only unbeaten horse to win the Triple Crown.

•Brown is the second horse to win the Derby with only three lifetime starts, and the second to win the Derby from the 20th post position.
•Brown's average earnings per start are $542,900. He was purchased last year for a mere $190,000.
•Brown has won his five career starts by 39 lengths, an average of nearly eight lengths per outing.
•Brown was the first Derby and Preakness winner for trainer Rick Dutrow and owners IEAH Stables and Paul Pompa. It was the third Derby and second Preakness win for jockey Kent Desormeaux.
