Gina Mizell: No redshirt concerns after OSU-Savannah State

What are the redshirt rules? Did anyone lose their ability to redshirt this year by playing against Savannah State?

Nine true freshmen played--Lunt, Curry, Hays, Webb, Lampkin, Peterson, Clark, Muncrief, Sheperd. And they're expected to have a role the entire season. So no redshirt for them.

Any word on the Arizona game getting picked up by a local cable provider?

Not yet. I know Cox is working to do that. Last week, the SSU game wasn't announced until Wednesday. I see it going down to the wire again. As of now, I won't get to see the game on my Uverse TV.

What will the biggest test be for the Cowboys as they face Arizona?

Facing this RichRod spread offense. This isn't the same scheme we saw the past two years with Nick Foles. New QB Matt Scott is a dual-threat, and actually does have some experience from a few seasons ago when he filled in for Foles when he was injured. The scoreboard doesn't indicate how many yards this offense rolled up against Toledo--624. Everyone has talked up this OSU defense as being the best of the Gundy era. This will be an early test to prove it.
