EDMOND — The fourth annual Gingerbread House contest at the Edmond Historical Society and Museum attracted 27 entries.
The one-of-a-kind gingerbread houses were judged on creativity, appearance and use of materials.
Winners and names of the entries, ages 5 to 11:
First: Lucas Mottola with Snoop's Happy Place.
Second: Grace Malm with Snow Day.
Third (tie): Abigayle, Aliya & Adah McCurry with Three Little Pigs houses, one of straw, one of sticks and one of bricks.
Winners and names of the entries, ages 12 to 17:
First: Isabella Mottola with Christmas Cabin.
Second: Midwest City High School Food's Class, Period 7, Kitchen 4 with Ginger Brown.
Third: Anna Kastler with Gingerbread House in the Woods.
Winners and names of the entries, ages 18 and older:
First: Beck Beierle with Cuckoo Clock.
Second: Vanmathy Vasudeuan with Route 66.
