Girl Scouts-Western Oklahoma has announced Shannon Evers as its new chief executive officer.

Evers, a California native, will assume her duties Sept. 4. She previously served as chief development officer for Girl Scouts-Western Washington. She has also worked as development director of the YMCA in Oregon.
