Girl Scouts polish computer skills at Oklahoma City University

Computer coding and website design were among the activities during Girl Scouts Who Code event at Oklahoma City University.

The Intergenerational Computer Center at Oklahoma City University held the Oklahoma City kickoff of Girl Scouts Who Code event.

Girls learned this week the basics of computer coding, earned badges for website design, designed apps, made movies, learned to code scratch projects and programmed robots.

The computer center also participated in a project with the Girl Scouts to create digital public service announcements to encourage healthy lifestyles. The project is sponsored by the Dell Corp.
