Kyra Fuller, Mustang

Class: Junior

The story: After Mustang graduated a strong team last year, Fuller was the most experienced returning runner, and continued to push herself. Her time of 11:39 was good for a fourth-place finish at state.

Abbey Mace, Norman North

Class: Senior

The story: A veteran distance runner and senior leader for Norman North, Mace was always in the mix for medals. She took fifth at state at 11:39.

Jenny Mehner, Edmond North

Class: Junior

The story: Mehner finished the season strong, taking eighth at the 6A west regional, then had the Huskies' best finish at state, coming in 10th with a time of 11:53.

Hayley Redwine, Norman

Class: Senior

The story: Though it was crosstown rival Norman North that grabbed most of the headlines, Redwine led a very strong Norman squad that was second at state. Redwine finished third individually at 11:33.
