Girls basketball: Lacey Paulk scores 31 as Washington trims Westmoore
NEWCASTLE — Washington 's girls were seeded seventh out of eight teams in the Newcastle Invitational, which started Thursday.
“I guess everybody's basing it off how we were last year, and we're not like that anymore,” said coach Rocky Clarke .
Senior Lacey Paulk scored 31 points, and Washington topped Class 6A's Westmoore 45-40 in the tournament's first round.
