Leading the way is sophomore Jenny Roy, who averaged 10 points and eight rebounds last season.

“She's executing our offense and getting an outside shot,” Peeler said. “She was mainly a penetrating threat last year but she's getting better from farther out.”

The Bulldogs play in the Edmond Open this weekend.

SANTA FE GUARD-HEAVY

Edmond Santa Fe has a huge task in replacing Courtney Walker, last season's Super 5 Player of the Year and current Texas A&M freshman.

The Lady Wolves have showed growing pains already this season, falling to Putnam City early.

But Santa Fe coach Paul Bass said he felt his guard combo was one of the best around.

The Lady Wolves use Cameerah Graves (5-foot-8) at the point and junior Tamara Lee is stepping into the two-guard spot after averaging 10.8 points per game last season off the bench.
