Edmond Santa Fe entered the season as the favorites to repeat in Class 6A.

After an early slip-up against Putnam City, the Wolves are showing that was a fluke.

Santa Fe beat Vinita 53-35 to take the Skiatook Invitational on Saturday, winning its 11th consecutive game in the process.

The Wolves weren't challenged much against Vinita, jumping to a 19-6 lead after one and blowing the game open even further in the third to lead 47-21.

Tamara Lee led Santa Fe with 15 points while Aahliyah Jackson added 12.

Lee was named tournament MVP.

Santa Fe (12-1) returns to action Tuesday at Mustang.
