Girls basketball roundup: Yukon hits its stride at tourney
Whether it was holiday spirit or just a young team coming together, Yukon’s girls basketball squad was a different team at the Ardmore Holiday Festival than it has been all season.
And the reward was a championship.
Yukon, unranked in Class 6A, walloped a Bishop McGuinness team that has been red hot of late, 50-36 in the title game of the tourney Wednesday.
