Giroud sat out training before Friday's World Cup qualifier against Finland as a precautionary measure and didn't play, but the Arsenal forward appeared to feel no ill effects on Saturday.
Giroud's Arsenal teammate Abou Diaby scored France's 1-0 winner in Helsinki.
European Championship winner Spain and Georgia are also in Group I.
