God intends strong bond between mothers, children

Q.We are Methodist-Presbyterian but attended a mass where the Archbishop for Oklahoma (City) spoke because our daughter is in the Catholic high school choir that sang. I’ve attached the archbishop’s homily. Two things he said bothered me greatly:
