Christmas events at Oklahoma City-area churches

The following Christmas events are free unless otherwise noted:

•  “The Gospel According to Scrooge,” 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, Bethel Baptist Church, 1717 W Lindsey, Norman, 329-3749; www.bbcnorman.com.

•  “Journey to Bethlehem,” continues 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Forest Hill Christian Church, 2121 N MacArthur, 495-0439.

•  Boy's Ranch Town Drive-Thru Christmas Pageant, 7 to 9 p.m. Friday through Dec. 9, 5100 E 33rd, Edmond, 341-3606; www.obhc.org. Donations accepted.

•  “The Plan,” 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 8, Henderson Hills Baptist Church, 1200 E Interstate 35 Frontage Road, Edmond, 341-4639; www.hhbc.com.

•  “Handel's Messiah,” part of the Kemp Concert Series, 5 p.m. Dec. 9, First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City, 1001 NW 25, 525-6584; www.fpcokc.org.

•  “Scroogical: An Empire City Christmas Carol,” Dec. 8 and Dec. 9 and Dec. 15-16, Victory Church, 4300 N MacArthur, Warr Acres, 787-4200, www.victorychurch.tv. General admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children; premium seating is $20.
