‘Night of Grand Guignol'

Performances: 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Oct. 12-13, Oct. 19-20, Oct. 26-27, plus a special midnight performance Oct. 27.

Directed by Timothy Berg. “Le Theatre du Grand-Guignol” (“The Theater of the Big Puppet”), named for Parisian theater that produced live naturalistic horror shows in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Guignol horror scripts are short, with several meant to be performed in one night. Gory special effects, violence and sexy and titillating antics are to be expected.

The Friday night shows are different from the Saturday shows, most of which will include special appearances by OKC Improv. Not recommended for patrons 17 and younger.

‘Richard III' by William Shakespeare

Performances: Nov. 9-25.

Directed by Tyler Woods. Shakespeare's famous history play of the infamous and bloody villain king will be set in the cabaret world of the Weimar Republic.

Starring guest artist, professional actor and Oklahoma native Rex Daugherty in the title role, this risque production will feature live music, dance and lots of audience interaction. Not recommended for patrons 14 and younger.
