Going through the recruiting process: Many high school stars make decision early to avoid recruiting hassle

Although he knows his football future includes the bright lights and jam-packed stadiums of Big 12 football, Jones isn't looking too far ahead.

He simply wants to enjoy his last season with his childhood buddies.

"I'm going to give my all for them,” said Jones, who had 170 tackles and five sacks as a junior. "We've talked about it. This is the last time (we'll play together).”

So don't expect the future Sooner's production to decrease at all, despite the natural concerns about potential injury while playing a contact sport.

"This year I'll be going all out, giving all I've got,” Jones said. "We're looking forward to the season and we feel pretty good about it.”
