Golf tournament to benefit sanctuary

EDMONDThe third annual Free To Live Golf Tournament will be Aug. 4 at The Oak Tree Golf and Country Club. This year's event is again sponsored by the Carballo Charitable Foundation and will benefit the Free To Live Animal Sanctuary and its many four-legged residents. Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
"Over the last two years, this tournament has helped us build our newest kennel for special needs dogs and provided much needed funds to help homeless animals,” said Ron Wingler, Free To Live Director of Operations.

Silvia Carballo of the Carballo Charitable Foundation said, "Over the last two years, more than 300 golfers and sponsors have helped raise over $70,000 to improve the quality of life at the sanctuary and place some of the animals in loving homes.”

Individual and business sponsorship opportunities start at $125, and all proceeds will go to benefit the no-kill animal sanctuary. Entries are $150 per person or $600 for a team of four players.
