Golf tourney to help with deputy's expenses

The Oklahoma County sheriff's local deputy union will hold a golf tournament in June to help pay for medical expenses for sheriff's Maj. John Waldenville.

The local Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies union will hold a golf tournament and silent auction next month to help raise funds for sheriff's Maj. John Waldenville's medical expenses.

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 155 will hold the tournament at 8 a.m. June 27 at Silverhorn Golf Club, 11411 N Kelley Ave., local union president Larry Grant said. Registration will be at 7 a.m. and requires a minimum donation of $100 per player.
