Real-time data online

Google says it's now carrying real-time quotes from major stock exchanges in Britain, Italy and Germany. The company says in a blog post that it is publishing live data from the London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Boerse and Borsa Italia. Google Inc. first introduced real-time quotes to its website in 2008 following deals with the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. The blog post on Tuesday said the Mountainview, Calif.-based, company also carries real-time data from China and India. Financial terms weren't disclosed. Emails to Google seeking further comment on the deal weren't immediately returned.
