Gov. Brad Henry signs executive order that bars texting
Gov. Brad Henry signed an executive order Thursday barring state workers from text messaging while driving government vehicles, a practice that he said is "a recipe for absolute disaster."
"We've developed some very dangerous habits," Henry said at an order-signing ceremony at the state Capitol. He said texting while driving contributed to the deaths of 13 motorists in Oklahoma in 2008.
