Gov. Fallin signs executive order to ban e-cigarettes

Published: January 3, 2014

Regarding “E-cigs will be banned on state property” (News, Dec. 24): Who does Gov. Mary Fallin think she is? A protege to President Obama? Obama has been rewriting law unilaterally in response to the health care debacle. Now Fallin has unilaterally signed an executive order banning the use of e-cigarettes on state-owned property. I've never used an e-cigarette, but executive power is supposed to enforce law — not create it as regal prerogative.
