Gov. Henry appoints Tulsa mayor as education adviser
Tulsa ’s mayor will become Gov. Brad Henry ’s education czar when she leaves office later this year.
Henry selected Kathy Taylor , elected Tulsa’s mayor in 2006, to be his top education adviser. She had served as Henry’s secretary of commerce and tourism for three years and before that served on his first transition team.
