Government can't always protect us from criminals with weapons

The recurring common theme for mass murderers is to attack innocent victims who can't protect themselves. What if someone in that Colorado movie theater next to the killer had a lawfully concealed weapon? Right or wrong, could that person have saved lives? Would you have pulled your lawfully concealed weapon against that mass murderer?

The point is, criminals will always have weapons and the government can't always protect us. Let's level the playing field for innocent victims; maybe mass murderers will think again before taking innocent lives.
