Government tyranny our forefathers tried to protect us from

Published: November 27, 2013

As things unfold concerning the federal government, one truth is obvious: We are uniquely able to witness big government progressive ideology in all its bumbling, incompetent ineptness display itself right in front of our eyes with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. If you combine the health care debacle with the Benghazi disgrace, the IRS revelation of powerful government targeting its citizens and the NSA information gathering, this is the government tyranny our forefathers tried to protect us from with our amazing Constitution.

This is the best argument for conservative governance ideology of limited federal government power and fiscal responsibility. A limited federal government is necessary to our future well-being because in government, as we're learning, inexperienced, unqualified, incompetent people can be elected or appointed to positions of enormous power. It's our collective responsibility to control them by exercising our power at the ballot box and by using the Constitution as it was designed.
