COURTS -- Gov. Brad Henry appointed Special Judge Sheila A. Condren on Friday as associate district judge for the 12th Judicial District in Rogers County.

She succeeds J. Dwayne Steidley, who was appointed to the new district judgeship in the 12th Judicial District in March.

Condren, of Owasso, has served as a Rogers County special judge for six years and has been an attorney for 19 years. She earned her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1987.

The governor selected Condren from three candidates whose names were submitted by the Judicial Nominating Commission.
