Grady County squares off against state agecy Published: September 16, 2013

CHICKASHA — They say it's time the Oklahoma Department of Corrections stopped abusing county jails.

And so, the Chickasha Express-Star reports, state Rep. Scott Biggs, R-Alex, plans to offer legislation aimed to cut overcrowding and financial distress caused by the Corrections Department leaving its inmates in county jails for extended time periods.
