Grains futures mixed, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mixed in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 1 cent to $6.1550 a bushel; July corn slipped 0.50 cent to $6.11 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $3.3725 a bushel; while July soybeans fell 0.50 cent to $14.8450 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rise on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.53 cent to $1.1340 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.48 cent to $1.5470 a pound; while June lean hogs rose 0.50 cent at 84.95 cents a pound.
