Grains futures mixed, pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 5 cents to $8.9750 a bushel; December corn rose 9.50 cents to $7.5075 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.6375 a bushel; while January soybeans fell 26.25 cents to $14.6950 a bushel.

Beef futures were also mixed, while pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rise 0.53 cent to $1.2595 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.02 cent to $1.4585 a pound; while December lean hogs slipped 0.05 cent to 80.15 cents a pound.
