Grains futures rise, livestock prices trade mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain prices mostly rose Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery added 3.25 cents to $7.605 a bushel; December corn gained 16 cents to $6.5075 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.44 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 11.5 cents to $14.3925 a bushel.

Beef futures fell while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle dipped 0.08 cent to $1.2037 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 1.05 cent to $1.504 a pound; while August lean hogs gained 0.73 cent to 95.50 cents a pound.
