Grass fire threat continues Friday in central Oklahoma

Firefighters are battling another grass fire Friday. Hot spots are being watched in northeast Oklahoma City from a Thursday fire.

Grass fires will be a threat Friday in Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

Firefighters were battling a grass fire in the 7900 block of N John Kilpatrick Turnpike off-ramp about 7:20 a.m., the city of Oklahoma City website reports.

Crews continue to monitor hot spots at 14700 Sharon Springs Drive. Fire started at 5:20 p.m. Thursday.
