Oklahoma groups build to celebrate world communion Sunday

One faith-based project has begun and several others are planned to celebrate World Communion Sunday on Sunday.

World Communion Sunday was implemented by the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1936, according to the National Council of Churches. The first Sunday of October was set aside for ecumenical service and cooperative efforts.
