Groups prepare kits for tornado survivors

ENID -- Contributions from the Enid, Hennessey and Kingfisher areas recently were assembled into kits for tornado survivors.

The effort picked up enough donations of supplies such as towels, toothpaste and other essentials, to make 250 to 300 kits to give to those who lost so much in recent storms, the Enid News & Eagle reported.



Volunteers from Central Christian Church and Christian Church of the Covenant put the kits togeether.

The Christian Women’s Fellowship, through Central Christian Church, collected the items.
