KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Defending champion Guangzhou Evergrande has been drawn to meet first-time qualifiers Western Sydney Wanderers in the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions League.

Evergrande will travel to Sydney for the first leg of the quarterfinals in August.

At the official draw Wednesday, 2013 runner-up Seoul FC was drawn to meet three-time continental club champion Pohang Steelers in a clash that will ensure at least one South Korean team reaches the semifinals in the eastern zone.

In the western zone quarterfinals, Al Hilal will play 2011 champion Al Sadd and 2003 winner Al Ain will take on two-time Asian champion Al Ittihad.
