When: 7:30 p.m., Friday

Where: Christian Heritage Academy

Records: Alva 7-3, 4-2 District 2A-1 (third); Christian Heritage 7-3, 5-1 District 2A-2 (second)

Last week: Hennessey 20, Alva 12; CHA 42, Stroud 7

Players to watch: Alva — Cade Plfeider, RB/LB. The senior has been a one-man wrecking crew, scoring 14 total touchdowns entering last week while also leading the team with a whopping 95 tackles, a pick six, five fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.

CHA — Colton Lindsey, QB. Lindsey has been the catalyst for CHA’s climb to second in the district, finishing with more than 1,300 yards passing and 13 touchdown passes despite missing a few early games with a shoulder injury.

Storylines: Alva — Contain Lindsey. Few teams have figured out how to slow down the senior, but the Goldbugs feature one of the top linebackers in Class 2A alongside defensive back Riley Hess, who has six interceptions.

CHA — Slow down quarterback Ty Hooper and the plethora of weapons around him. Alva can put up points in a hurry and if it gets ahead of CHA, it might be tough to catch up.

The pick: CHA 35, Alva 28
