Guide to Heritage Hall at No. 3 Seminole

by Jacob Unruh Modified: November 22, 2013 at 9:35 am •  Published: November 22, 2013

When: 7:30 p.m., Friday

Where: Seminole High School

Records: Heritage Hall 6-4 (4-2 District 3A-3, third); Seminole 11-0 (6-0 District 3A-2, first)

Last week: Heritage Hall 45, Lone Grove 35; Seminole 51, Marlow 19

Players to watch: Heritage Hall — Terrell Love, RB. The sophomore, known as “Tank,” scored three times last week and has given the Chargers some much-needed balance.

Seminole — Papi White, RB. The senior has been electric all season, rushing for 2,466 yards and 33 touchdowns through 11 games. He may have saved his best performance for last week, though, rushing for a school-record 466 yards and three touchdowns.

Storylines: Heritage Hall — Slow down White. It sounds like a simple game plan, but it’s far from that. Nobody can figure out how to slow down the speedy senior and the thin Chargers defense may be in for a long night.

Seminole — Contain Heritage Hall’s offensive weapons. Along with Love, the Chargers have quarterback Connor McGinnis and are still a threat to put up some points despite the huge amount of injuries.

The pick: Seminole 42, Heritage Hall 21
