Guide to No. 4 Edmond Santa Fe at No. 8 Southmoore

by Jacob Unruh Modified: October 22, 2013 at 4:15 pm •  Published: September 27, 2013

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Where: Moore Stadium

Records: Edmond Santa Fe 2-1; Southmoore 2-1

Last week: Edmond Santa Fe 38, Edmond North 31, 2OT; Southmoore 58, Moore 14

Players to watch: Edmond Santa Fe — Ke’Marrie Carter-Hartfield, RB. The junior backup running back scored the game-winning TD in double overtime last week and has 111 yards and two TDs on just 21 carries this season.

Southmoore — Jalen Adams, WR. The senior has six Division I offers, including Tulsa. But he has struggled this season to duplicate the big numbers he did last season.

Storylines: Edmond Santa Fe — This is just one of the Wolves’ two games away from Wantland Stadium this season due to a scheduling quirk. How will the Wolves respond on the road, especially if they fall behind early?

Southmoore — Slowing down Santa Fe’s offense will be tough. Hansen is playing extremely well, and his comeback effort last week was very impressive. If the SaberCats get an early lead, holding off the comeback attempt will be key.

The pick: Edmond Santa Fe 45, Southmoore 35
