Guide to Oklahoma Christian at No. 9 Lindsay

by Jacob Unruh Modified: November 22, 2013 at 2:05 pm •  Published: November 22, 2013

When: 1 p.m., Saturday

Where: Lindsay High School

Records: Oklahoma Christian School 8-3 (4-2 District 2A-2, third); Lindsay 9-2 (6-0 District 2A-3, first)

Last week: OCS 35, Chisholm 7; Lindsay 52, Marietta 7

Players to watch: OCS — Thomas Qualls, QB. The sophomore took over in Week 9 and has been a big reason the Saints have caught fire. He’s completed 23 of 32 passes for 370 yards and four touchdowns, while also bringing the ability to run.

Lindsay — Hayden Eubank, RB. The senior, a member of The Oklahoman’s Class 2A Preseason All-State team, entered the playoffs with 14 total touchdowns and 1,001 total yards.

Storylines: OCS — The running game has been impressive the past few weeks and will be relied on heavily by the Saints. The Leopards haven’t lost since Week 2 against Class 3A No. 1 Blanchard, though. They have not allowed a team to score more than 21 points.

Lindsay — Keep the ball away from OCS’ offense. If Lindsay controls the clock and keeps star running back and The Oklahoman‘s Player of the Week Luke Frankfurt on the sidelines, things get a whole lot easier.

The pick: OCS 21, Lindsay 20
