When: 1 p.m., Saturday

Where: Boone Pickens Stadium

TV: FSOK (Cox 37/HD 722, Dish 441, DirecTV 679, U-verse 754/HD 1754)

Radio: KRXO-FM 107.7

Records: Poteau 12-1 (6-1 District 4A-4, first); Anadarko 13-0 (7-0 District 4A-1, first)

How they got here: Poteau 48, Cleveland 7; Poteau 10, Clinton 7; Poteau 27, Douglass 20

Anadarko 41, McLoud 2; Anadarko 40, Catoosa 14; Anadarko 34, Wagoner 14

Players to watch: Poteau — Jace Pitchford, QB. Pitchford, who won Player of the Week honors from the fans last week, has accounted for 38 touchdowns this season. He also made the game-winning tackle after scoring the winning touchdown against Douglass in the semifinals.

Roger Barcheers, RB. The sophomore has rushed for more than 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. Against Douglass he rushed for 114 yards and a 51-yard TD run.

Anadarko — RJ Sink, RB. Sink has followed his stellar junior season with another strong season, rushing for 2,164 yards and 36 touchdowns. The Warriors give him the ball a lot and he has the ability to make people miss.

Traymayne Wauahdooah, RB/LB. Wauahdooah has emerged as a big playmaker for the Warriors, who regard him as the hardest hitter. He has 77 tackles and five sacks along with an interception this season.

Storylines: Poteau — The Pirates will need to find a way to slow down the balanced Warriors’ offense. The only way to slow down Anadarko is to avoid a shootout and keep its offense off the field. Anadarko’s defense has also not allowed a team to score more than 15 points all season.

Anadarko — The Warriors’ balance may be too much with Sink and quarterback Brandon Pollard, who has shown an impressive ability to overcome adversity. He nearly led the Warriors to the title last season, too. Experience certainly won’t be an issue for the Warriors, as they’ve made three straight title game appearances.

The pick: Anadarko 34, Poteau 17
