by Jacob Unruh Published: December 19, 2013

When: 7 p.m., Thursday

Where: Cache High School

Records: Hollis 13-0 (6-0 District A-2, first); Ringling 12-1 (7-0 District A-4)

How they got here: Hollis 49, Oklahoma Bible 8; Hollis 29, Empire 6; Hollis 41, Kiefer 7; Hollis 25, Apache 0

Ringling 61, Watonga 6; Ringling 21, Thomas 14; Ringling 48, Morrison 8; Ringling 26, Talihina 18

Players to watch: Hollis — Gunnar Ewing, QB. Voted as the Fans’ Choice Football Player of the Week, Ewing was great last week against Apache, scoring twice and coming up with an interception in the first half.

Ringling — Taner Richardson, QB. Richardson rushed for two touchdowns and 95 yards, while also throwing for 89 yards during the Blue Devils’ win against Talihina last week.

Storylines: Hollis — The Tigers’ defense has been stellar, especially in the playoffs when its allowed just 5.25 points per game. It’ll need to be that solid against the powerful rushing attack Ringling features.

Ringling — It’s been a tough few weeks for the Blue Devils with the OSSAA investigation that nearly rocked the playoffs. How they respond Thursday will go a long way. The general feeling is they will rally around ineligible senior Ryan Lester.

The pick: Ringling 27, Hollis 21
