Gundy speaks, says ‘I want this to end'

He chose the Oklahoma City radio station because "we want to move forward.” He chose Friday because it's a slower day with only a team walk-through.

Gundy said he never intended to raise his voice during a postgame tirade at a newspaper columnist that's become an Internet sensation.

"My voice escalated as it went on because I got angrier when I thought about it,” Gundy said. "Not at any particular person, but when I thought about the way it happened and the embarrassment that it may have made to this young man, it made me angry and that's just a fact.”

Gundy said he loves his job enough that he hasn't been bothered by the reaction to his comments.
