— Guthrie's annual 89er Day celebration offered something for all ages.

89er Day commemorates the 1889 Land Run. The city last week hosted a wide range of events including a full carnival, a rodeo, a chuck-wagon dinner, a parade and an old-time baseball game. New this year were a mechanical bull and a rock climbing wall. More than a dozen vendors sold food.

This year's event was the 82nd time it has been held in Guthrie.
